This weekend will provide a general introduction to using art as a therapist. The small group (of no more than 8 people) will explore through their own drawing and painting ways that a child or adult’s art can help in the therapeutic process. We will also discuss how art can be used as an assessment tool and help gently move on the process of ‘stuck’ clients.
Jill Carter will also introduce the latest research on therapeutic art using case studies.
This workshop is suitable for students, counsellors and psychotherapists.
No previous experience of working with art (or ability to draw) necessary. All art equipment provided.
