SUMMARY:Working Creatively with Trauma - Brentford\, London
DESCRIPTION:This is a new weekend course looking at integrative trauma models through the lens of sandplay and therapeutic art. It will concentrate on ways of working with both simple and complex relational trauma with children\, adolescents and adults. This is the only course of its kind in the UK and is designed as an introductory weekend before a new Certificate in Working Creatively with Trauma is launched in January 2019.  \nWorking in a small group (maximum 8 people) the course will include a mixture of experiential work with sand and art\, an introduction to the current trauma models including EMDR and EFT awareness and lots of practical support. Taught by Jill Carter UKCP who has 15 years experience of working with sandplay and art and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Trauma Treatment. Some experience of sandplay and art is recommended. Being in or having had counselling is a requirement. All materials\, refreshments and lunch provided. \n  \n
